W Residences Marina View Developer

W Residences Marina View is developed and sold by Boulevard Development Pte. Ltd., part of IOI Properties Group, which holds housing developer’s licence C1466 with Boulevard Midtown Pte. Ltd.

The Developer of W Residences Marina View

IOI Properties Group is a public-listed developer with property developments and assets in Malaysia, Singapore and China, and close to five decades of experience in townships, malls, homes, offices and hotels; the developer’s brochure describes it as one of the largest property companies by market capitalisation on Bursa Malaysia. Its Singapore arm has delivered Seascape and Cape Royale at Sentosa Cove, The Trilinq, the South Beach mixed-use development and IOI Central Boulevard Towers in Marina Bay.

The group also owns hotels, among them the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach and W Kuala Lumpur, according to the developer’s agents’ guide, which is how a W hotel and W Residences come to share one tower at Marina View.

The W Residences Marina View Design Team

Architects 61, a Singapore practice of more than 50 years whose work has shaped much of the Marina Bay skyline, designed the tower to read light against its darker neighbours: a pale palette of glass and aluminium that reflects the sea and the sky, and a silhouette of three slender volumes whose vertical fins climb to a stepped crown.

Hachem, the award-winning Australian studio, brings its work to Singapore for the first time and designs the interiors of both the hotel and the residences, from the arrival court with its rippled silver ceiling to the homes. Woh Hup, with more than 97 years in Singapore construction and civil engineering, is building the tower.

W Residences Marina View and Marriott International

The residences are managed by Marriott International, which the developer’s brochure credits with 134 open branded residential locations and 115 more in its pipeline across 49 countries and territories. Because the homes are integrated with the hotel, the residential concierge and the hotel teams work side by side, and owners join ONVIA, Marriott’s platform for branded residence owners.
